Charlotte Wardlaw joined the Blades on a season-long loan deal from Barclays Women's Super League champions Chelsea in September 2024.

The young defender previously enjoyed a successful loan spell at Liverpool, winning the Barclays Women's Championship back in 2022, before other loan spells at Lewes and Glasgow City.

Wardlaw has also captained the England youth teams at various levels.
