Egan joined United for undisclosed fee from Brentford in the summer of 2018 and is now a three-time promotion winning at Bramall Lane, having regular captained the side during the 2022/23 success.

During his time at S2, the experienced defender has established himself at international level too and now proudly captains the Republic of Ireland.

Egan has over 200 league starts to his name in red and white.
