Full-back Sophie O’Rourke joined United in the summer of 2025 after several years with Charlton Athletic.

The defender has been a regular face in the second tier since its restructure in 2018, spending four years with Lewes before making the switch to south London in 2022.

O'Rourke made over 50 appearances during her time with the Addicks as part of a team regularly up the top end of the table and the Reading academy product brings valuable experience to the United backline ahead of the new campaign.
