Experienced full-back Leanne Cowan joined the Blades in the summer of 2024 after a short-term spell at London City Lionesses.

Able to play on either the right or left, Cowan started her career with Millwall where she had a long association, including when the club became the Lionesses, also enjoying a successful spell with Crystal Palace in between her two spells with London City.

Cowan played every minute of United's league campaign during her first season at the club.
