Full-back Sai Sachdev joined United straight out of grassroots football four years ago and completed an impressive scholarship which saw the marauding right-back quickly step to the Under 21s, where he became an integral part of the success of the past few years.

He made a senior debut in the Championship, earned several caps for the England youth teams, had a loan spell at Oldham Athletic, but last season was curtailed early by a bad injury picked up in the Premier League Cup against Wolves.
