Attacking left full-back Lennon Patterson joined the club midway through last season after a successful trial period from Wolves.

Patterson started out gaining vital minutes in the Under 18s as both a full-back and on occasion left centre-back, before moving closer to the Under 21s towards the end of the season, scoring on his first start at Bramall Lane.
