Versatile midfielder Jay Tinsdale, who can also play at left full-back, arrived at United towards the end of the 2023 summer transfer window out of Bradford City's academy.

Tinsdale immediately impressed, first in midfield and then more regularly as a full-back in the under 21s and enjoyed a very solid first season in red and white.
