Full-back Jack Waldron has risen through the ranks of the United academy and after captaining the Under 18s started to make the step up more regularly to the Under 21s last season, becoming more of a regular last season where in the second half of the season he duelled his games at United with a senior loan at Scarborough, where the all-action defender became an instant hit among supporters.
