Commanding centre-back Tom Dearden became a regular in the Under 18s defence last season as a pre-scholar, duelling his academy duties with regular call-ups to the Wales Under 16s set up where he was a regular starter.

With an aerial presence, Dearden was a threat in box boxes, popping up with a handful of goals from set-pieces throughout the campaign.
