Versatile forward Riley McLachlan joined the club from Emley AFC last season after impressing for the non-league side at academy level, including the FA Youth Cup, and made an impact with his quality and non-stop running for United's under 18s, finding the net for the first time in a win away at Crewe Alexandra, before making his under 21s debut in a match against Barnsley.
