Capped 23 times by England's U21s, Davies made his name at boyhood club Everton, having signed at Goodison Park at 11.

He made his senior debut as a teenage and became the club's youngest ever captain.

The midfielder boasts a wealth of Premier League experience having accumulated over 150 appearances for the blue and white side of Merseyside.

He penned a three-year-deal at Bramall Lane, following the expiry of his contract with the Toffees.
