Bamford joined United on a short-term deal in November and a return of five goals in 10 appearances, not to mention his impact on the group, saw him extend his stay until the summer of 2027 in January.

His CV is impressive, having started his career at Nottingham Forest before moving to Chelsea in 2012, Bamford scored goals consistently in loan spells with the MK Dons, Derby County and Middlesbrough, before moving to Teesside permanently.
