Goalkeeper Faxon has risen all the way through the United academy, first joining when he was eight years old over a decade ago.

Having put pen to paper on a new professional deal last year, Faxon asserted himself as the number one for the under 21s and put in some huge performances, no less than in the national final against Birmingham City, with his distribution also a key attribute of his game.
