Riedewald penned a short-term deal at Bramall Lane in mid-October, having impressed Chris Wilder and his staff during a brief stint training with the club as a free agent.

The experienced and versatile Netherlands international, who worked under Frank de Boer during his time at Ajax before spending seven years in the Premier League with Crystal Palace, made his United debut as second half substitute in the victory over Watford and is set to stay at S2 until January 2026.
