United bolstered their midfield options with the permanent addition of Matos in August, a young midfielder with Premier League and Championship experience.

The versatile operator arrives with United paying Chelsea an undisclosed fee for his services, which have been secured on a three-year deal.

In addition to his time at Stamford Bridge, Matos, who began his youth career at Luton Town, has also furthered his development with loans at Huddersfield and most recently Oxford United.
