Before Christmas Sheffield United Community Foundation successfully developed a new partnership with Sheffield Children's University (CU).

This is an exciting opportunity for the Foundation as we share the CU's vision that out of school structured learning is important in a young person's development.

In 2020, Sheffield Children's University engaged with 46,159 children and young people who earn CU credits for taking part in out of school hour activities.

As a new partner of Sheffield Children's University, our holiday camps will now be advertised on their website which will help the Foundation reach a wider audience and provide more children in Sheffield with the opportunity to attend one of our camps and earn CU credits.

By attending one day, children will be able to sign off five hours of out of school activity and work towards the opportunity to graduate in a cap and gown if they reach the following hours/CU credits:

Bronze (35 hours/CU credits)
Silver (60 hours/CU Credits)
Gold (100 hours/CU Credits)
