The United chief is well aware competition for places will again be key to the Blades hopes of enjoying a successful second season in the top-flight and with the business he's done this summer, Wilder is convinced he now has more options at his disposal.

Looking ahead to Monday's opener with Wolves, Wilder says there has been a 'lift in training standards' in recent and admits he has some tough calls to make ahead of the televised encounter.
