Chris Wilder picked out some positives and negatives from his side's narrow defeat to Aston Villa as he gave his assessment of United's overall display.
The Blades were on the wrong end of two key decisions which saw John Egan red carded after 12 minutes and Matt Targett only booked when he brought down Chris Basham when through on goal.
The decisions aside, Wilder picked the bones from a display which was settled by Ezri Konsa's second-half header.
Wilder praised his side's organisation with 10 men, and was pleased that his troops restricted Villa to very few clear cut chances. On the flip side, he was unhappy with Villa's winner as the Blades conceded from a set play.
Overall, he praised his side for their efforts as attentions turn to the visit of Leeds on Sunday.
