Manager Chris Wilder admitted he was disappointed with two key decisions as United were narrowly beaten 1-0 at Villa Park.

The Blades were down to 10 men after 12 minutes following John Egan's red card after a tussle with Ollie Watkins, whilst at the other end Matt Targett was penalised with just a yellow after bringing down Chris Basham when clear on goal.

John Lundstram had the resulting penalty saved, before Ezri Konsa's second-half header settled a tight encounter leaving Wilder to reflect on what might have been.

The Blades boss suggested afterwards the officials may have been better served checking the monitor for both incidents which had a big bearing on the outcome of a tight contest.
