Billy Sharp says a positive start from the Blades is going to be crucial in Sunday's clash against Leeds United at Bramall Lane.

Speaking ahead of the first top-flight Yorkshire derby in 19 years, Sharp acknowledged the players are focused on giving the fans something to shout about and revealed he's impressed with Chris Wilder's summer signings.

There is fierce competition for a start at the top of the pitch on Sunday, but Sharp is confident of adding to his goal tally against Leeds if selected, before going on to admit there was only the Blades who could have tempted him away from Elland Road back in the summer of 2015.

Chris Basham's second-half goal proved decisive in the last fixture between the two sides in the Championship and the Blades captain believes that win was the turning point in the race for promotion.
