Chris Wilder remains hopefully Jack O'Connell will be passed fit to play in Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final tie against Arsenal.
The influential defender hasn't featured since top flight action resumed because of a knee injury, but the Blades boss says O'Connell is 'improving by the day' and will continued to be. 'assessed'.
As and when the marauding 26-year-old becomes available for selection, Wilder admits it will be a 'boost' for his squad who are looking for a first win in four matches at the weekend.
But Wilder has also praised Jack Robinson who has deputised during O'Connell's untimely absence and according to his boss has been 'one of the plus points' in the last three games.
