Blades boss Chris Wilder praised a 'committed' performance from his side despite a late defeat against Arsenal in the FA Cup quarter-final at Bramall Lane.

United produced a front foot display much more like the pre-lockdown form, and looked deservedly set for extra-time when David McGoldrick cancelled out Nicolas Pepe's first-half penalty, only for Dani Ceballos to net in stoppage time to snatch it for the Gunners.

After witnessing some uncharacteristic performances of late, Wilder was pleased to see his troops play 'a step up' from the recent encounter against Manchester United, with the manager particularly pleased with his team's commitment, attitude and energy throughout.

The Blades manager still believes there's more to come, but indicated the display was a step in the right direction ahead of Tottenham on Thursday.
