Following John Egan's first goal of the season in Sunday's stalemate at Burnley, Chris Wilder has made no secret of the fact that he expects his defenders to be contributing more goals to United's tally.

All three of the Blades regular centre-halves have had numerous opportunities this term and the boss says it's about technique and quality when in front of goal with Wilder admitting he had hoped for between eight and ten goals coming from those at the back.

Looking ahead to the midweek encounter against Wolves, the United chief believes Wednesday's opponents have done brilliantly again this term led by Nuno Espírito Santo, describing them as a 'really powerful football club packed with international players'.

Wilder thinks the game will be another huge challenge for his own players, but he remains optimistic the Blades can build on last week's win over Tottenham and the point yielded at Turf Moor.
