Utilita - the UK's leading Smart Pay As You Go Energy supplier - will once again feature on the front of the junior home and away shirts for the 2020/21 season after the energy giant signed a one-year official club partnership extension. The agreement follows a hugely successful partnership for the 2019/20 campaign, with United finishing 9th place in the Premier League.
Central to the new partnership will be Utilita's Energy High 5 movement, which enables every household to use around £163 less energy each year by making five simple and free changes at home. Anyone can sign up to start saving, without being a Utilita customer.
"The team at Utilita are delighted to continue our sponsorship of Sheffield United Football Club," Jem Maidment, Chief Marketing Officer of Utilita, said.
"To be backing the blades for a fourth consecutive season is something we are thrilled about - to see the club grow on and off the pitch has been fantastic and another exciting season of Premier League football awaits."
"With the Energy High 5 logo adorning the junior shirts this season, this will hopefully help Blades supporters to save on their energy bills with 5 simple tips especially during these testing times. Not only will this create an eco-friendly, energy efficient environment in Sheffield and beyond, but it will also make a difference financially."
Paul Reeves, Head of Commercial at Sheffield United, said: "Utilita have been an excellent long term sponsor for the football club. Their commitment to reducing energy costs for households during these unprecedented times and also the launch of their 'Energy High 5' campaign fits well with our own values and over the course of the season we will also be working with Jem and his team on some engagement initiatives with our valued supporters"
