O'Connell wary of top Everton side

Speaking ahead of Monday's clash, Jack O'Connell has described Everton as a 'top team' and a 'massive football club', despite being an avid fan of the other half of Merseyside.

The Toffees will arrive at Bramall Lane in 12th place in the Premier League, four places and eight points adrift of the Blades, but O'Connell says Chris Wilder's side are preparing to face 'the best' Everton side and admits United need a 'reaction' following last Thursday's setback at Leicester City.

Under the stewardship of Carlo Ancelotti the expectation level on the blue half Merseyside has vastly increased and the Blades defender, who has experienced it first hand, believes they have a squad that should have been fighting for a place in Europe this term.
