Chris Wilder says the huge experience chief executive Stephen Bettis has in negotiation outside of football aids United's cause in the transfer market.

Bettis concedes the price for players tends to be higher for Premier League clubs but insists United only proceed with any transfer if the deal is right for the club and sensible, ensuring the Blades are not forced to overpay for their specific targets.

Despite the January window now being closed, Bettis has revealed plans have already been laid for the summer and says senior management have met with the board in Dubai this week.

Stay tuned to for more from Wilder and Bettis over the weekend.
