Chris Wilder felt his side produced an outstanding performance in difficult conditions in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion at Bramall Lane.

The Blades boss said his players drove the game in search of all three points against Graham Potter's Seagulls, after Neal Maupay had cancelled out the opener from Enda Stevens.

Wilder said he would look at the performance, ahead of the result, adding he would have applauded his side at full-time had he been on the terraces, although he admitted United lacked that tiny bit of quality to net the third goal of the contest which in all likelihood would have been the winner.
