Billy Sharp says he felt his first Premier League goal at Bramall Lane was coming but was more happy to see United collect another home maximum by defeating Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.

The skipper, who scored against the Cherries at the Vitality Stadium on the opening day of the season, notched his second of the campaign against the same opposition on the stroke of half-time to restore parity after Callum Wilson's early opener.

Unsurprisingly, Sharp, who has now started the last four games in all competitions, was jogging on the spot inside the box after John Egan's effort had been blocked on the line.

Sharp believes his performances have been good and feels he is developing a good combination with Oli McBurnie.
