Sander Berge felt the Blades produced a 'very solid performance' in the first half of Tuesday's friendly against Dundee United, which was unfortunately abandoned at half time because of a waterlogged pitch and high winds.

The Norwegian international caught the eye at Tannadice Park, winning an early penalty and having a couple of efforts saved, the second of which saw Billy Sharp score on the rebound and Berge feels the 45 minutes of action gives all the players who featured something to build on.

On his own contribution, the midfielder is understandably pleased to be 'fulfilling his role' in United's engine room, with the 22-year-old believing he is becoming more comfortable and adaptable in different roles and he feels he is getting 'better and better'.
