Skipper excited by future

Billy Sharp has revealed that he believes he is playing the best football of his career after signing a new Blades contract.

The United fan, skipper and leading scorer committed his future to the club by signing a deal until the summer of 2021.

He commented: "I feel fit and strong and playing the best football of my career.

"I'm delighted with the new contract, it is important for me to know where I'm going to be for the next few years. I can now concentrate on my football and on driving this team forward."
