Alethea Paul made the move to Sheffield this season after joining from WSL Premier League side Manchester City. Paul made her debut for City at just 17 years old in 2016 and remained in the squad until an injury set her back.
Thea played for Manchester United Regional Talent Centre team before moving to Manchester City. In April 2018, after coming back from a major operation and over 10 months of rehab, Paul featured in the Manchester City Development side who lifted the FA Youth Cup trophy at St. George's Park. City ran out winners against Birmingham, with Alethea scoring herself.
Thea scored her first professional goal in United's 4-1 win over Villa at Bramall Lane when she slotted home a crucial penalty for the Blades.
