Welsh international Nikki Davies joined her hometown team Bangor City in 2000 and was first choice 'keeper until moving to Liverpool Ladies in 2003. In 2012, Davies was named FA WSL Goalkeeper of the Year and also won RAF Sportswoman of the Year. After spells at Doncaster Rovers Belles and Reading, Nikki took a break from football to focus on her RAF career before rejoining the Belles ahead of the 2017 Spring Series and helping them to secure the FA WSL trophy in May 2018.
Davies had represented Wales up to Under-19 level before debuting against Canada in 2002. Since then, the goalkeeper has collected over 60 international caps.
