In the summer Ward bolstered her backroom staff, with the appointment of an assistant manager and goalkeeping coach.
Tom Fitton joined the Blades as Ward's number two, arriving from Manchester United, having previously led their Under-16s to five league titles between 2011 and 2018 before he took over as manager of the Red Devils development side when the club relaunched its women's team last summer.
Fitton guided Manchester United to the FA WSL academy cup final where they succumbed to Arsenal but with a UEFA A License behind him, Tom brings a wealth of coaching experience to the club.
Meanwhile, Tom Pressman arrived at United after working as in the same role at Doncaster Belles.
Pressman has previously worked alongside Blades stopper Emily Batty and will now continue to work on the development of the 20-year-old in addition to summer signing Becky Flaherty.
Son of former Wednesday stopper Kevin, the former Belles coach was recently issued with his UEFA B License.
