Three Sheffield United Women players will be heading off on international duty next week after the team's first home game of the new season against Leicester City.
Greek international Veatriki Sarri, plus England youngsters Keri Matthews and Lucy Watson have all been called up by their respective nations as international football resumes in the women's game.
Sarri's Greece sit third in their Euro 2021 qualifying group, eight points behind Germany and travel to Ukraine for their latest qualifier on 22nd September, with the Blades full-back now a regular in the first team squad.
Matthews and Watson will join up for Under 19 and Under 18 camps respectively with the Lionesses, with Matthews' camp beginning on Tuesday 15th September and Watson's a day earlier on Monday 14th September.
Northern Ireland duo Becky Flaherty and Nat Johnson were both initially included in their nation's squad for a qualifier against the Faroe Islands but both have been forced to withdraw due to ongoing recovery from injuries which saw them miss Sunday's opening day win at London City Lionesses.
Neil Redfearn's side return home to the Technique Stadium this weekend to face Leicester City on Sunday 13th September, 2pm kick-off, with the game streamed live at faplayer.thefa.com/home/womens-championship
