Sheffield United Women have signed versatile defender Ellie Wilson from fellow FA Women's Championship side London Bees.
The 23-year-old joins after a two-year spell at the Bees and can play all across the back line, but has predominantly played at full-back and becomes the club's second signing of the summer.
Wilson began her career at Reading in 2015, helping the team to promotion into the FA Women's Super League for 2016.
The defender though decided to drop back down a level to gain more first team opportunities, signing for Bristol City at the end of the campaign.
11 appearances later, Wilson enjoyed a back-to-back promotion and remained with the club for the next 18 months before joining the Bees in 2018.
Wilson was a mainstay in the Bees side over the past two years, spending the first 12 months of her time there playing alongside current Blades forward Katie Wilkinson.
A former England Under 19 and Under 23 international, Wilson will be looking to hopefully a third promotion with United this season.
"I'm really, really pleased to be joining. It's really exciting times for the club, especially after how well the team did last season, that was a big selling point for me.
"The ambition is pretty clear from the club and that matches my ambitions. It's definitely an exciting time for me to be coming in. Sheffield United as a club is definitely somewhere I want to be playing as a next step in my career because of the ambition and where the club wants to go."
