Women trio heading abroad on international duty

Sheffield United Women trio Naomi Hartley, Becky Flaherty and Veatriki Sarri are all heading away on international duty this week and all be heading abroad before returning to the club next week.

Flaherty and Sarri are in qualification action for Northern Ireland and Greece respectively as they continue their attempts to make it to Euro 2021, which Bramall Lane is one of the hosts for, while Hartley is away with England's Under 19s for two friendlies in Portugal.

The centre-back has regularly captained the young Lionesses recently and Hartley and her side face the Netherlands on Wednesday before a second match against Norway on Friday.

Goalkeeper Flaherty will also be coming up against Norway with Caroline Graham Hansen et all on Friday evening before a home encounter against Wales the following Tuesday. Northern Ireland snatched a dramatic late point in the reverse fixture earlier this year and will be looking for a similar result again this time around.

Sarri also faces two qualification games after playing the final 20 minutes against former European champions Germany last month. The full-back/winger faces Montenegro away from home on Wednesday afternoon before a home match against the Republic of Ireland in Athens next Tuesday.

8th November - 5pm - Norway vs Northern Ireland

8th November - 5pm - England Under 19s vs Norway Under 19s

12th November - 1pm - Greece vs Republic of Ireland

12th November - 7:45pm - Northern Ireland vs Wales
