Sheffield United Women are delight to welcome goalkeeper Fran Bentley who will be joining the Blades from Manchester United Women until the end of the 2018/19 season.
Fran will be joining Manchester United teammate Ebony Salmon who is also on loan until the end of the season.
One of the young hopefuls within Casey Stoney's squad, Fran began her career at Manchester United before moving to Manchester City later in her career. She later re-joined the Reds for their first season in the FA Women's Championship.
Blades manager Carla Ward said: "We are excited to welcome Fran to Sheffield, and we are hopeful that we'll be able to provide her with some valuable Championship experience. It also provides added competition within our squad for that number one shirt."
The Blades make their way to Loughborough this Sunday to take on Loughborough Foxes in the rescheduled SSE FA Cup rourth round tie.
