Sheffield United Women made it another win in the FA Women's Championship with a 2-1 victory against third-place London City Lionesses.
After beating Durham next week, it was another crunch tie and a stunning goal from Olivia Fergusson 15 minutes from time sealed victory.
The Blades started well and were ahead within 10 minutes as Katie Wilkinson continued United's record of fast starts by tapping home after a defensive mix-up after just eight minutes.
Carla Ward's side largely dominated the opening exchanges but couldn't find a second as Lucy Thomas thwarted both Aimee Palmer and Alethea Paul from range.
Wilkinson saw a half volley well held before Palmer fired wide as the Blades looked for a second before the break.
The second half began in more even fashion as the hosts came out with more intensity looking to find a way back into the game.
The Blades had to dig in but the hosts did find an equaliser ten minutes into the half when Vyan Sampson prodded home after United failed to clear a corner into the box.
But the equaliser sparked the Blades into life and after riding out some more pressure from the Lionesses, it was left to Fergusson to win it in style when she ran towards the edge of the box and unleashed a curling effort into the far corner.
It gave the visitors the momentum to see the game out, Becky Flaherty holding a powerful effort from Evie Clarke before the Blades held on despite a succession of late set-pieces launched into their penalty area.
Blades: Flaherty, Barker, Tierney, Little, Hartley, Pennock, Cusack (Lipka 79), Wilkinson, Paul (Sarri 71), Palmer, Fergusson (Matthews 79).
