One of the team's big characters and whilst only just turning 25 this season, Kirsty has been with United for nearly 20 years, having come through every age-group and made her first team debut at 16 in 2007. More or less United's number 1 for the last nine seasons, Kirsty has played around 200 games, making her second only to Rachel Ruddach in most games. Won 2008 'manager's player' of the season award, 2009 North-East League Cup, 2012 North-East League and Cup double. However, four games into the 2014-15 season Kirsty tore her ACL, putting her out of action for over a year. Kirsty returned last season and reclaimed the number 1 jersey. Strong and brave in goal Kirsty is a dedicated club member and has been assistant manager of the U16s and even played outfield a few times for the reserves. From Sheffield and a Blades fan.
