Sophie Bell

Quite probably United's 'most valuable player' as the Americans say. Having previously played for hometown Scunthorpe Ladies, Sophie signed for United in the summer of 2014. That first season saw United relegated from the FA Northern Premier but Sophie was one of the positives as she was the team's top scorer with nine and voted both 'player's player' and 'manager's player' of the season for 2014-15. Her contribution last season was invaluable with 16 goals and 12 assists in 21 league games. Naturally more of a goal provider from her speed and intelligent creative play, but she can clearly finish too.
