Tara Bourne returned to the club in the summer on a permanent basis after a loan spell as a Blade at the start of the 2021/22 season.

A graduate of the Manchester United academy, Bourne joined under previous head coach Neil Redfearn and made a dozen appearances before being recalled in January 2022.

The ball-playing defender who can also play higher up spent last season on loan at Birmingham City where she was a regular and has now returned to the club permanently under head coach Jonathan Morgan.
