The former Scotland youth team international is entering her third year as a Blade and is coming off the back of a campaign which saw the defender names the club's Player of the Year.

Newsham progressed through the academies of both Manchester's City and United before experiencing first team football at Blackburn Rovers and Huddersfield Town ahead of joining the Blades in 2021.

Able to play full-back or centre-back, Newsham formed a solid partnership with Molly Graham under Jonathan Morgan towards the end of last season.
