Pacey forward Hackford has come through the United system and after making a Premier League debut at 16, the striker became a regular starter for the under 21s before an ACL injury in 2022 put him out for a year.

Hackford returned to top form for the under 21s at the start of last season before heading out on a first EFL loan to gain vital senior experience at Burton Albion.
