Having joined the Blades from Nottingham Forest for an undisclosed fee in January 2019, Robinson proved to be an able deputy for Jack O'Connell when the Premier League restarted following lockdown in June 2020.

The former Liverpool man made nine appearances in all competitions for United and grew into his role and the Blades system during that time.
