Robinson has offered dependability and leadership during his time at the heart of United's backline following his arrival from Nottingham Forest in January 2020.

A Liverpool fan, Robinson started his career at Anfield before cutting his teeth in the Football League with the likes of Blackpool, QPR and Huddersfield before moving to the City Ground.

Last term, the skipper featured 38 times in all competitions.
