Chelsea loanee Ampadu will offer boss Chris Wilder versatility in a number of defensive positions having agreed a season-long loan deal at S2.

The Wales international, who is still only 19, spent much of last season on-loan with RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga.

Before moving to Stamford Bridge in July 2017, Ampadu made his senior debut for hometown club Exeter City at the age of just 15.
