Bosnian international Ahmedhodžić enjoyed a wonderful first season as a Blade, establishing himself as a fan favourite and playing an instrumental role in United's promotion to the Premier League, having joined from Malmo in July 2022.

Last season, the defender made 31 Premier League appearances and captained the side for a spell following Chris Wilder's appointment as manager.
