Blades announce global partnership with Yelo

Sheffield United F.C. have today announced another significant new commercial partnership as they continue their 2020/21 Premier League campaign.

Saudi Arabian based "Yelo" will be the official Car Rental Partner of the Football Club in a three-year deal that will see the brand across the Blades first team players and management training wear, travel wear and bench wear kit.
Yelo is the new brand name of Alwefaq Rent a Car, who announced the change of its name and visual identity in October 2020, 20 years after it was originally founded. This strategic change in the company's history was revealed last week in Riyadh City, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

The company confirmed that its strategic transformation to Yelo is a response to the rapidly growing steps that the Kingdom is witnessing in the implementation of the Kingdom 2030 Vision that has been launched by the Government and His Highness the Crown Prince which pays great attention to the important impact that travel and tourism has on supporting the national economy.

Mr. Nassir Al-Qahtani, Founder and CEO of Yelo expressed his pride in the company's distinguished presence in global sport through sponsorship of five teams in Saudi Arabia; Al-Raed, Al-Ittihad, Al-Batin, Al-Faisaly and Abha football club, in addition to sponsoring Sheffield United in England, F.C. Beerschot in Belgium, and Al-Hilal United of the United Arab Emirates as part of Yelo's social mission in supporting this vital sector whose influence extends to most members of society.

Mr. Nasser Al Qahtani said "We are excited to extend the sponsorship program that we started last year with Sheffield United Football club owned by Saudi Arabia's HRH Abdullah bin Mosaad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
