Boss Chris Wilder says his side can't feel sorry for themselves as he looks to plot a course to bounce back from defeat at Newcastle.

Wilder acknowledged that his side historically have reacted well to defeats in the past, as he looks to prepare for Wednesday night's Premier League showdown with Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The Blades boss is confident of having David McGoldrick back from injury, whilst he also revealed that defender Jack O'Connell is not out for the season as his situation continues to be monitored.

Wilder also confirmed fellow defender Phil Jagielka was struggling with an ankle injury, and was named on the bench at Newcastle only in case of emergency.

Meanwhile, Wilder revealed that loan defender Panos Retsos has returned to parent club Bayer Leverkusen.
