Chris Wilder has been named runner-up in the League Manager's Association (LMA) Manager of the Year.

The Blades boss, who won the coveted award following the Blades promotion from the Championship to the top-flight last season, came second to Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp this time around.

Announcing Wilder's achievement, Sir Alex Ferguson remarked: "Another great year Chris, fantastic.

"Last year you were a winner, this year you'll have to settle for second but I'm sure you'll be happy with that. Your players, absolutely magnificent performance, so well done."
